Angelina Jolie Returns to Public for First Time Since Brad Pitt Divorce in ICC Campaign Video

In the recorded video message for the International Criminal Court, the 'Maleficent' actress is speaking out in support of a recent policy regarding children.

Angelina Jolie has made her first public appearance since she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. While the "Maleficent" actress didn't step out in public, she appeared in a recorded video for the International Criminal Court in support of a recent policy regarding children.

Angie donned a black blazer with her hair falling over her shoulders. "Successful prosecution and new legal benchmark, whether at the ICC or elsewhere is part of the long and vital generational effort," she said in the video, "That is the light in which I believe the court's new policy on children should be seen."

"I particularly welcome the commitment to include charges for crimes against children wherever the evidence permits as part of a more systematic approach," the "By the Sea" actress continued, "I congratulate the office of the chief prosecutor, and all those working on the policy."

Angie noted, "There can be no complete justice without consideration for the victims of the war crimes themselves, and the practical assistance they need to move on with their lives and overcome the harm they have suffered. That is why the work of the trust fund is important and must be supported and strengthened over time."

While Angie has been maintaining a low profile since her split from Brad, her lawyer Laura Wasser has given an update on the actress' life with her six children ahead of Thanksgiving. Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier on Thursday, Laura said, "I'm going to imagine that she's going do what most of us are doing, which is spending it with her family." She added that Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne were "all doing fine."
