Carrie Fisher Reveals Affair With Harrison Ford, Clarifies After Insinuating He Was Bad in Bed

The Princess Leia depicter opens up that she once had an 'intense' fling with her on-screen love interest on the set of 'Star Wars'.

Carrie Fisher opens up on a secret past affair with her "Star Wars" co-star Harrison Ford. "It was so intense," she reveals to PEOPLE an excerpt of her new book "The Princess Diarist". "It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend."

The actress, now 60 years old, recalls in her tell-all memoir about having self-doubt, "I looked over at Harrison. A hero's face - a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow. How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?"

According to the actress, Ford seduced her in Tunisia while she was drunk. Their first night together didn't really impress her, but she forgave him because "he really was handsome." She says, "I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him. He was kind."

Fisher hoped he would propose with a "gold band with diamonds (inscribed) 'Carrison'," but their fling came to an end after the filming was wrapped. He who was married back then returned to his wife Mary Marquardt and their two sons although his marriage later fell apart. Despite their illicit affair, Fisher insists his divorce happened "for reasons having nothing whatsoever to do with me."

Soon after the story makes headlines, the Princess Leia depicter takes it to Twitter to clear up the air. "I would never talk about how someone was in any furniture--chair, bed, coffee table or otherwise," she tweets. Meanwhile, her co-star who reportedly received the book's draft in advance didn't respond to the press' request for comment.
