A 'disgruntled' former employee has decided to dismiss his sexual harassment allegation against the Rocket Man.
A sexual harassment lawsuit against Elton John has been dropped. The suit was filed by the singer's former bodyguard named Jeffrey Wenninger. The off-duty officer reportedly dismissed the accusation on his own, but it's unclear why since there's no financial settlement between the two parties.
Wenninger reportedly worked for Elton John until 2014. He accused the Rocket Man of making inappropriate verbal and physical advances. His allegation was vehemently denied by his former employer in March.
"This baseless lawsuit is brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment," Elton John's attorney said in a statement back then. "These claims are patently untrue and contradicted by numerous previous statements made by this plaintiff. We will not give into his latest abuse of the legal system."
