Is She OK? Rosie O'Donnell Spotted in an Electric Wheelchair

The former 'View' co-host is seen riding an electric wheelchair in Boston, Massachusetts.

Rosie O'Donnell has been spotted riding an electric wheelchair during an outing in Boston, Massachussets. The former "The View" co-host wore no makeup. She was followed by a friend who also rode an electric wheelchair.

Rosie wore a purple tank top paired with a blue long-sleeved shirt, a green vest, skinny pants and grey shoes with light blue laces. The 54-year-old comedian and TV personality carried a sling bag and styled her hair in natural waves.

Turns out, Rosie was in the middle of filming her latest comedy pilot "SMILF". The project marks her major TV return following her exit from "The View" in early 2015. She recently had a recurring role on Freeform's "The Fosters" and guest appearances on CBS's "Mom" and FOX's "Empire". She is set to appear on ABC's gay rights mini-series "When We Rise".

"SMILF" is based on Frankie Shaw's short film which won over the Sundance Film Festival last year. Frankie will star as Bridgette whose desires for relationships, sex and a career collide with the realities of young, single motherhood. Rosie will play Bridgette's mother Tutu.

Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman, newcomer Kyle Vincent Terry and "Quantico" star Graham Rogers are set to guest star.
