The actress-turned-yoga teacher was found dead in her car after she had gone missing since Christmas Day.
Tricia Lynn McCauley was found dead on Tuesday, December 27. The actress who once played a stand-in for Jenna Dewan Tatum in 2006's dance movie "Step Up" had been missing since Christmas Day so her family contacted police.
The 46-year-old star who worked as a yoga teacher after leaving acting didn't show up at a Christmas dinner and missed her flight out of DC Monday. Her body was later discovered in her car. There were signs of carjacking and trauma on the body.
A man who was seen driving her Toyota around Washington DC has been arrested. Rumor has it, the suspect robbed a drug store and attacked the employees before McCauley disappeared. "We do not believe at this time that the suspect knew the victim," police said.
