'Not afraid to be seen in public together,' the British royal and his actress girlfriend were spotted on a movie date in London with just one royal police protection officer following them.
Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markle have been photographed on a date in London. The pictures, which are obtained by The Sun, mark the first time they were spotted together in public since the prince confirmed in a statement that they're dating.
The British royal and the "Suits" actress were pictured walking down Shaftesbury Avenue with just one royal police protection officer following them on Wednesday night, December 14. They headed to the Apollo Theatre where Harry had reportedly booked last-minute tickets for comedy "Peter Pan Goes Wrong".
The pair stayed close to one another during the outing and were enjoying the Christmas lights during the evening stroll. They dressed down in matching beanies and jeans. "They were clearly not afraid to be seen in public together," a source says of the couple's outing.

Harry visited Meghan in Toronto following a 14-day tour of the Caribbean last week. The 35-year-old actress took a flight to London earlier this week to meet her beau before the holiday season kicked off. They reportedly went shopping for a Christmas tree at the Pines and Needles store on Monday night.
