The MMG boss, who has previously collaborated with 'Ye on a bunch of songs, suggests during an appearance in NYC that the troubled rapper's hospitalization is just a stunt.
Rick Ross made an interesting remark about Kanye West during his recent appearance in New York City. The Maybach Music Group boss seemed to take a shot at the troubled rapper as he weighed in on 'Ye's recent mental breakdown.
In a video posted on Twitter Monday, December 12, Rozay was seen standing in front of a small crowd and telling them that everything that had happened to West in the past few weeks was just a stunt. "One time for Yeezy," he said. "My homie a genius. For everybody who thought he was wigging out, he played y'all n***as."
It's unclear what prompted Ross to make the claim. The rapper and West have collaborated on numerous songs in the past, including "Maybach Music 2", "Monster", "I Wish You Would" and "Sanctified" among others. Making things weirder was the fact that Rozay said it all while standing next to Mike Dean, who's been working closely with West.

The "Famous" rapper was transported to hospital last month as a result of several psychotic breakdowns. He was reportedly placed on a 5150 hold and was finally released last week. Only days after making his first public appearance since the hospitalization in L.A., the Chicago spitter was spotted visiting a recording studio in New York Monday morning, apparently to continue working on his new album and prepare himself to return to the stage for the "Saint Pablo" tour.
