The 'Sorry Not Sorry' songstress also reveals that battling her eating disorder 'has been the most challenging journey of my life.'
"So, I'm insecure about my legs in this picture but I'm posting it because I look so happy," she writes along the pic. She then adds that she will let go of her "perfectionism and embracing freedom from self criticism. Learning to love my body the way it is challenging but life changing."
"Giving up my eating disorder has been the most challenging journey of my life but I work every day towards solid recovery even if I mess up sometimes," she continues, adding the hashtags #EDRecovery and #happyAF. "Today I'm feeling strong. You all can do it too. It IS possible. Thank you God for this new chapter in my life."
Fans soon flood the comment section, with many saying that Demi should not feel insecure about her legs as they think that her legs are attractive. "Your legs look strong and muscular and IMO that's more attractive five than sickly skinny," a fan writes. Another similarly says, "Your legs look so good tho.. perfectly toned and tan. You look great."
It appears that fans are not the only ones who are praising the New Mexico beauty. Actress and singer Sofia Carson takes to Twitter to praise Demi, posting a screenshot of the former Disney darling's post. "Thank you for this, on behalf of every girl in the world who has ever wanted to something that they're not or has wanted too look differently than they do, thank you, you are beautiful," so she tweets. Demi then replies to her, "Thank you so much," adding a heart emoji.
