Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui Charged With Possession of Marijuana

Lauren Jauregui is found having a bag of weed when her luggage was searched by TSA at Washington Dulles International Airport.

Lauren Jauregui landed in hot water. The Fifth Harmony singer was stopped by TSA at Washington Dulles International Airport after cops were flagged down when a bag of marijuana was found inside her carry-on luggage.

Jauregui was reportedly arrested, but a lawyer for her girl group quickly set the record straight. The 20-year-old singer was not detained despite rumors to the contrary, so the attorney clarified, but she was simply cited for possession of marijuana.

"Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance," the lawyer Dina LaPolt said. "She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system. This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities."
